Earth Hour
As part of Earth Hour, we were asked to turn off our lights on Saturday, 28 March 2009 from 20:30 to 21:30.
Together, we saved 400 megawatts in South African alone.
That’s the equivalent of 4.7 million 60 watt light bulbs which is a lot of energy and most importantly, a lot of people showing their commitment to climate change.
See. A lot of little people working together can make a BIG difference!
